Made of carefully selected high quality Italian briar. Pipe pouch dyed with indigo. Made with Sukumo indigo produced in Tokushima. Alkaline solution is extracted from the lye of oak trees, indigo is dissolved, and fermented with sake, lime bran, etc. This is an authentic indigo dyeing process that was used until the end of the Edo period.
