Jeppesen Handmade Ida Easy Cut Smooth Freehand (5) Tobacco Pipe. A rare shape from Peder Jeppesen of Neerup pipes, this Freehand puts a whole lot of emphasis on its generous bowl and plump shaping, while the shank and stem flare upward, taking full advantage of some lovely plateau along the lower shank. It does make for quite the nice way to show off grain, with vibrant licks of flame highlighted in one of Peder’s electric finishes. Length: 5.48 in. Weight: 3.28 oz. Bowl Height: 1.90 in. Chamber Depth: 1.62 in. Chamber Diameter: 0.89 in. Outside Diameter: 2.24 in.
Jeppesen Handmade Ida Easy Cut Sandblasted Freehand (4) Tobacco Pipe. This is one sizable, smoothly-flowing, bent Freehand from Neerup. The chamber is not a wide as you might expect, but it is deep, and the thick walls will ensure the pipe stays gently warm in your hand. And while Peder Jeppesen’s contrast stains tend to be electric, this one has been kept quite tame, giving off a soft, warm palette. Not to mention, the natural stain on this pipe should darken handsomely with time and use, gradually developing a patina. Length: 5.09 in. Weight: 2.32 oz. Bowl Height: 1.67 in. Chamber Depth: 1.55 in. Chamber Diameter: 0.88 in. Outside Diameter: 1.92 in.
