Like I’ve said (to no one in particular) of 1980s automotive design, If you can’t design a car with a square and a straightedge you have no business being a designer. Certainly balance is nice, but sometimes it’s the pendulum swing to one side or the other that keeps life interesting. Enter the Bayonet, our sharp, muscular, and industrial looking poker. Surprisingly nimble as a clencher, the Bayonet features a generous bowl and a sturdy footprint. An offset stem drops towards the heel on the shank giving the Bayonet its signature look. And, lest you think there’s inflexibility with my straightedge, the bowl is indeed cylindrical and the shank and stem are softened with just a bit of curve to blend it all together. Stem: Hand cut black ebonite. Length: 4.375 in. Weight: 1.69 oz. Chamber Depth: 1.53 in. Chamber Diameter: 0.83 in.
