Vintage Calabash gourd estate tobacco pipe with new Meerschaum bowl insert

Vintage gourd Calabash pipe. This unmarked estate pipe is in good shape, and comes with a new meerschaum bowl insert. The cork ring has also been replaced, and the fit of the bowl into the body is air tight. This pipe was moderately smoked, and the interior of the chamber has been cleaned, but still has some carbon residue in the cavity. The tip is free of any teeth marks, and the stem has been disinfected. The stem does have a metal threaded tenon that screws easily into the shank. The exterior of the body does have a small ding in the bend of the gourd, but no major damage or cracks. The insert does have some discoloration due to transfer from when I was fitting it. I didn’t wait long enough for the interior of the chamber to dry from cleaning, so there is some discoloration on the insert. This is a smaller Calabash gourd pipe measuring 5 inches tall stem side, and 3 inches tall bowl side. The total length is approximately 6 inches, and the pipe weighs in at 2.6 ounces.
