In 1997 that muse was the Goose, and was aptly personified by a lithe bent Apple shape. The gentle S-curve does well to emulate the bird’s general profile, complete with a fetching white spot on either side of the shank.. The 2019 Nording Hunting Pipe takes inspiration from the spectacular White Rhino. The light greyish skin of an adult White Rhino will sometimes fold in panel-like areas and the body shape is broad and fairly short giving it a sturdy appearance. The forward pointing larger horn counterweights the body and ads a bit of overall elegance. This gave our pipe its panels and the nice melange grey ring to separate the mouthpiece from the stem – and it inspired the slightly forward tilted bowl on the pipe. We hope you will enjoy it.
