Benni Jorgensen Sandblast bent apple Tobacco Smoking Pipe. Benni Jorgensen began making pipes at W. Larsen in the 1980s and produced some excellent straight grain pieces. At his workshop in Larsen, he interacted with Teddy Knudsen and others, and was influenced by them. Currently, Benni shares the workshop with his son, the artist Lasse, and is researching various new finishes and colors. Lasse Skovgaard Sandblast bent with Olivewood Tobacco Smoking Pipe. Lasse Skovaggard is a resident of Praesto, Denmark, where his father is pipe maker Benni Jorgensen. He made his debut at the Chicago Show in 2004. He began working at W. Larsen’s workshop at the age of 18 and quickly became involved in the workshop’s high-grade line. From a young age, he learned the basics under his father and Teddy Knudsen (with whom he would later share Teddy’s workshop). Each pipe has an acrylic stem and includes its own individually fitted protective case. Bowl sizes may vary slightly. Meerschaum is a rare, sturdy material mined from the shores and sea-beds of Turkey. Meerschaum is a word of German origin meaning sea foam. Meerschaum’s natural pores filter tobacco tar and allow for a clean, smooth smoke every time. Don’t smoke too much though.
