Total length 110mm Fire pan 46mm high x 37mm wide Inner diameter 19mm Weight: 33g Country of origin: Ukraine Shekita Konstantin -Shekita Konstantin Born in Ukraine. A professional stuntman who appeared in popular films, he became a pipe maker. His career began at Golden Gate’s Kiev factory. In the 90’s Konstantin’s first job was polishing mouthpieces, which was his first foray into pipe making. Since the factory also manufactured furniture, he had access to all kinds of wood and was never short of materials. His first piece was an unprocessed log. It was an Albanian briar from the area around the Adriatic Sea. He learned that only carefully selected old briars were exported for pipes and soon began trading privately. He became an independent pipe writer, but also continued to cooperate with Golden Gate. In the meantime, his pipes have enjoyed remarkable success in the CIS and in Europe: more than 500 creative pipes he has made in 17 years. After a career in the tobacco world for several years, he decided to enter pipe contests – make billiards. He entered to see what he could do and won second place. His pipe then became well-known and was chosen as the winning prize in the long smoking contest in Kiev. Konstantin’s challenge continued: he entered his work in the 2007 Polish and World competitions, as well as the international competition in Chicago in 2008. Although often thought of as design-oriented, Konstantin is an artist who has studied the fundamentals of pipe making and is continually improving his technique. He draws inspiration for his openwork pipes from various beings in nature. He is called “Crazy Pipe” because of the unique beauty of his shapes. About Importer’s Obligation.
