This “Chubby Tomato” (my words) is comparable to his Big Boy line with some modifications. The bowl on this handsome pipe is larger & deep. The slight bend lends itself to the custom ebonite slightly bent saddle stem!! The stem is as wide as the bowl with a smooth, open, and laminar flow draw that will make a superior smoker. I would not classify this as a “nose warmer, ” as it is a bit longer, but it certainly fills the hand as a larger tomato bowl. The briar is awesome. Tight grained up both sides of this handsome masterpiece & somehow straight sweeping vertical on the stem of the stummel!! How this pipe avoided flame for nine years is beyond me.
