Handmade in Texas, USA by Joshua Sanders of Frassati Pipes. This Morta pipe is made with 6,000 year old bog oak from the Ukraine and a coffee acrylic stem with a delrin tenon for longer life. The pipe is very beautiful with the acrylic stem adding just the perfect amount of contrast to the mostly black with a little bit of grey morta stummel. This pipe started out out as block of wood that I drew the pipe shape on and then drilled the airway, mortise, and Tobacco chamber. The pipe’s airway is spot on in the middle of the Tobacco chamber giving the pipe perfect draw plus you can slide a pipe cleaner through the stem and into the tobacco chamber without any bumps. Length: 5 1/4 inches. Width: 1 3/4 inches. Tobacco chamber width: 3/4 inch. Tobacco chamber depth: 1 9/16 inches. Airhole diameter: 1/8 inch.
