Details: This Modern Hand Carved, Howling Wolf Effigy Pipe is black, and an excellent quality pipestone. The ample stone bowl sits atop thecwof’s head. The bowl is solid, without inclusions, polished to a very high sheen. The cedar stem is part spiral and part flat as pictured. It has been stained and waxed to compliment the bowl. This large pipe is fully functional. It was created recently by expert pipe carver, Jay Rather. This pipe has been crafted to sustain well over the years and will be very well packaged. This Pipe and stem together measures approx a large 26-1/2 inches overall in length. The stone bowl alone measures 3-3/4″ long x 3-1/2″ high. When using materials such as sinew, antler, horn, bone, feather, fur, skin, shell, quill, hair, claws, teeth, scales, oil and fat, or any other part of an animal we are appreciative for its life and gift to us and thank the Creator.
