Cylindrical smoking pipe from Peru. Production time: 21 days. Smoking pipes by Viktor Orlov. I started woodcarving in 2010, during a year-long shamanic diet in the Peruvian jungle, fueled by plenty of free time and mahogany wood. Palo Sangre, a Brazilian rosewood, has become my favorite wood to work with; initially it has a rather interesting color and structure, and is durable due to its high density. For glaze and inlay I use only natural materials. The smoking pipe is the main tool of Amazonian shamans, with its help they both heal and wage war. Mapacho, an Indian tobacco, is considered a sacred plant and national treasure of Peru and does not cause lung diseases.
