It also comes with its original pipe bag. Flávia Rodrigues ventured into pipe making initially as an experiment, driven by her creative spirit, a deep appreciation for nature, and the mentorship of Gustavo Cunha from Martelo Pipes. Gustavo taught her how to use the tools, refine her technique, and channel her creativity into briar. Influenced by renowned carvers like Tom Eltang, Hans “Former” Nielsen, Becker, and Chris Asteriou – who inspire her with their mastery of form and proportion – Flávia often favors traditional shapes with Danish-style influences. This Prince rendition ably showcases her abilities, featuring a broad bowl paired with an elegantly bent, handcut vulcanite stem and a beautiful, creamy-hued horn accent adorning the shank end. The sandblast is stellar, unveiling a wealth of stunning grain around the bowl while also maintaining the shape’s regal appearance.
