This is for a. Stanwell King Smooth Freehand Tobacco Pipe w/Stanwell protective sock. Previously owned but in like new condition and appears to be unsmoked. See pictures, what you see is what you get. I do my best to describe and look for imperfections. Briar has a smooth shiny finish and beautiful grain. No tooth marks or imperfections on the vulcanite mouthpiece. Protective sock is slightly dusty/dirty. Very small, round imperfection on the bottom of the pipe. Not noticeable but wanted to disclose (see pictures, pen head sized). I would suggest proper cleaning/ prepping of pipe prior to use as it has been sitting on a shelf collecting dust for years. The impressive pipe fondly referred to as the “snake pipe” by the carvers. A masterpiece from the founder of Ser Jacopo in Italy, Giancarlo Guidi way back before the last millennium. Truly gorgeous, with the brown S2 grade sandblast showing all the bold grains. Meticulously handcrafted from well-seasoned outstanding Italian briar. A marque of tradition and great legacy left behind by the master carver. The gold’J’ logo on the stem is a bit worn, so are the corners on the strong box. Bowl(Height 5cm/width 4cm).
