I started getting into wood carving in 2010, during a year-long shaman diet in the Peruvian jungle, aided by an abundance of free time and red wood. Palo Sangre, a Brazilian rosewood, became my favorite wood to work with; it initially has quite interesting coloration and structure, and is long-lasting due to its high density. For glazing And encrusting I use only materials found in nature. A smoking pipe is the main instrument of Amazonian shamans – with its aid they both heal and wage war. Mapacho, Indian tobacco, is considered to be a sacred plant and the national heritage of Peru, and it does not cause any lung diseases.

If you’ve been looking for a GBD Billiard, this is your chance to grab a great smoker for your rotation – Nice and Large Chamber, smooth briar and great stem. This is a terrific Smoking BIlliard, with great airflow in a CLASSIC GBD Shape. I’ve carefully reamed (as pictured) the chamber for you, the shank & stem airway were cleaned/sanitized, and the chamber was sanitized with a 99% alcohol/cotton ball solution for 24 hours. Approximate Pipe Length: 5.75. Weight: 1.4 oz. Interior Chamber Width: 0.89. Interior Chamber Depth: 1.84. My pipes are generally well cared for and have been on’display’ far too long – it’s time they are smoked and enjoyed. If you are looking for something specific, let me know – I may have it! Most of my pipes will have stem oxidation removed and will be polished. I delicately polish my pipes with carnauba wax on a buffing wheel, as to not fade the nomenclature. I would smoke any of my pipes as they are mailed to you, but you should do what makes you feel comfortable!
