A true survivor: 28 years in diverse climatic environments, perfectly preserved with no drying, cracking, or compromise to the aged briar. Condition: New Old Stock (NOS) / Brand New / Unsmoked. Shape Stamping: 185 (Iconic Voluptuous Bent Apple / Balloon Shape). Origin Stamping: Genuine Vintage “MADE IN DENMARK”. Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage Stanwell Shape 185 featuring a factory-original bright silver-tone mount. The 185 is one of Stanwell’s most famous and comfortable Danish silhouettes, featuring a plump, full-bodied bowl that feels excellent in the hand. Crucially, this pipe features the crisp, vintage “MADE IN DENMARK” stamping on the shank and the “185” shape number stamped clearly on the side. This guarantees it was crafted during Stanwell’s original, highly revered era of Danish manufacturing before production was later moved out of the country. This pipe is pristine New Old Stock (NOS) from the private display cabinet of my former tobacco shop. It has never been smoked, never been filled with tobacco, and has been stored safely in a clean, climate-controlled retail environment. The original cardboard box was misplaced over the years, so the pipe does not include its original factory box. However, the pipe itself is in absolute showroom condition with a perfect rim, clean chamber, and pristine stem. A fantastic, unsmoked piece of authentic Danish pipe-making history. A flat-out gorgeous 2002 Dunhill Amber Root, completely unsmoked and preserved in true new-old-stock condition. The Amber Root finish is one of Dunhill’s most distinctive-warm honey, orange and reddish tones laid over beautifully selected briar, with a much brighter character than the traditional Bruyere. This bent Dublin shows it off perfectly, with a tall sweeping bowl, graceful bend and some seriously attractive grain running around the stummel. What really puts this one over the top is the completeness. It remains unsmoked with a pristine chamber and comes with the original Dunhill presentation box, outer box, paperwork, pipe sock and accompanying factory materials. The kind of complete package that becomes harder to find every year, particularly in an Amber Root. A spectacular turn-of-the-century Dunhill that somehow made it nearly a quarter century without anyone putting a match to it. Come and take it. VINTAGE STANWELL 185 SILVER MOUNT BENT APPLE – MADE IN DENMARK NOS. A true survivor: 28 years in diverse climatic environments, perfectly preserved with no drying, cracking, or compromise to the aged briar. Condition: New Old Stock (NOS) / Brand New / Unsmoked. Shape Stamping: 185 (Iconic Voluptuous Bent Apple / Balloon Shape). Origin Stamping: Genuine Vintage “MADE IN DENMARK”. Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage Stanwell Shape 185 featuring a factory-original bright silver-tone mount. The 185 is one of Stanwell’s most famous and comfortable Danish silhouettes, featuring a plump, full-bodied bowl that feels excellent in the hand. Crucially, this pipe features the crisp, vintage “MADE IN DENMARK” stamping on the shank and the “185” shape number stamped clearly on the side. This guarantees it was crafted during Stanwell’s original, highly revered era of Danish manufacturing before production was later moved out of the country. This pipe is pristine New Old Stock (NOS) from the private display cabinet of my former tobacco shop. It has never been smoked, never been filled with tobacco, and has been stored safely in a clean, climate-controlled retail environment. The original cardboard box was misplaced over the years, so the pipe does not include its original factory box. However, the pipe itself is in absolute showroom condition with a perfect rim, clean chamber, and pristine stem. A fantastic, unsmoked piece of authentic Danish pipe-making history. Will be meticulously wrapped and heavily padded to ensure safe transit. Pipe weight: 2.6 ounces.
