He served our country in the US Navy, and and decided to start making his own pipes after returning home from his tour of duty to repair some of his own “sea worn” pipes. It displays superior internal engineering, too, and the stem is wafer thin, yet sturdy. Nice Meerschaum Tobacco Smoking Pipe #107-521

Very nice meerschaum pipe, elegant design, has sterling silver metal work. Comes with a very nice case. I think the photographs will speak for themselves. No makers Mark that I can find. Came with a card that says it is a Hungarian design circa 1820. This pipe was made in 1990. I listed it as being made in Turkey but there is actually nothing with the pipe that says it was made in Turkey so that part could be wrong. Length = 9.5. Bowl Height = 2.5 Not counting cap.
