The dragon metal, which is three-dimensional and made with great attention to detail, is extremely beautiful. The smoking pipe was born in the Keicho era and was familiar on a wide stage of daily use until the Meiji era, when paper cigarettes became popular. During the Edo period, samurai warriors possessed them as an expression of their ambition. There is a wide variety of shapes, materials and decorations.
