Hand Made Briar And Deer Antler Tobacco Pipe With Matching Stand And Tamper. This one is awesome! Hand made by yours truly. Hand carved Italian briar bowl, that has been partially rusticated, with a bit of live edge on the bottom corner, and a through hole to retain the matching bowl cap. Real deer antler stem that is topped off with a hand carved iron wood mouth piece. Stem is removeable, fit to the bowl utilizing a stainless steel tenon. The attached bowl cap is cut from the same set of antlers that the stem was. As are the forked stand and tamper, which were also custom made for this pipe by myself. The stem also dons the original 1942 Michigan Resident Deer Tag! The bottom of the pipe is stamped “006” being the 6th one of a kind pipe I have produced, and also has my makers mark “IVXVI”. This is no display piece, though it will look great anywhere you decide to showcase it. This pipe was made to smoke! With the thick walls and ample bowl size you will be sure to enjoy many a long cool smoke relaxing on the porch, next to the fire, wherever you decide to unwind and enjoy your favorite blend. Just know, this 1 of 1 piece will not only look and smoke amazing, it will also make you the envy of all your pipe smoking companions.

Non-Typical Mule Deer Antler smoking pipe! Every piece is unique and individual and hand sanded to 5000 grit! I have accidentally dropped these on my concrete shop floor and they only bounce! And if you were ever to knock the liquid meerschaum bowl loose, simply send it back to me and I will repair it on me! But I doubt that would happen. This pipe is 11 1/2 inches long overall, 4 1/2 inches wide. The pipe bowl has been poured with “Liquid meerschaum”. This is produced from meerschaum carving scraps and other pieces of solid block meerschaum that have been ground to a powder and mixed with hydrocal to protect the horn from burning. They have been as large as ten feet and as small as twelve inches. Though I’m still making my chandeliers I’m definitely enjoying the smaller craft items as well!! I was a full time taxidermy shop owner at the time and also was was making various antler things like cribbage boards and door pulls, (which will also soon be available, maybe). I always liked my little antler pipe and it has since become the inspiration for what you now see me making! I have over five hundred pieces currently cut and on the table, and I’m just getting started! These include white tail, mule deer, elk, moose, and some fallow deer antler. It’s funny how I now live within five miles of the taxidermy/museum and gift shop that was once ran by the late Robert Mullen of Troy, Montana. The first time we passed through Montana on vacation when I was a boy, my Dad bought me some antlers from his gift shop….. Living just around the corner from there! Ya’ know I would have to say that the individual uniqueness of every antler, no matter if it is a large Alaskan moose or a tiny Coues deer White tail deer antler.
